There are different audio and video door entry system technologies. Choosing the right one depends on the number of homes, accesses and functionalities required in each installation.

1.- VDS SYSTEM

A simplified installation audio and video door entry system that does not use house call wires.

The main trunk wiring needed in the building is:
- Audio entry system: 3 common wires.
- Video entry system: 3 common wires + 1 coaxial / 5 wires /UTP CAT5

It is the system recommended for all types of facilities, both for audio and video entry.

2.- BUS 2 SYSTEM

A digital simplified installation system with wiring reduced to a single 2-wire bus.

3.- 4+N SYSTEM: conventional or analogue.

The system uses wires common to the whole installation plus 1 call wire (or call return) per home. The most classic system and due to the amount of wiring needed, recommended for smaller installations/buildings. 

AUDIO ENTRY: 4 COMMON WIRES + N (1 CALL WIRE PER HOME). VIDEO ENTRY: 7 COMMON WIRES + 1 VIDEO COAXIAL+N (1 CALL WIRE PER HOME).
